I haven't been this excited in quite a while - the second Soul Rash album is really taking shape and I can see the finish line. We have 9 songs (8 originals and 1 tribute/cover) to add to our first album, "The Covid Sessions". This new one is called "Legacy" because it is exactly that - our combined body of work represents decades of experience in songwriting, arranging, performing, producing, engineering and making sure it all gets documented. Getting these new songs out into the universe is driving us forward. Chris Smith and I are headed to Connecticut to track my brother Brett playing drums on these songs which is a special treat. Getting to include Brett and tracking him at Carriage House Studios is the culmination of a lot of work and planning and I couldn't be more pleased and excited to do this. I'm working on a ton of pre-production and planning to make sure the tracks are in perfect shape before getting on that jet. I'm also determining what equipment I may travel with to enhance the recording to supplement an already superb environment at Carriage House Studios. I'm planning to document it all with plenty of pictures, videos and - most importantly - recordings of an amazing performance.
