Major progress - still much to do

After several weeks of work crews being in our building, the studio shape and dimensions have finally been revealed in real life. It's an amazing process to take an idea in your head, put it on paper, add designers (acoustic and architectural) and see it come to life in the real world. Bringing together all of the components and products we've been discussing for a couple of years now feels very good. The floated floors, the spanned steel control room ceiling, the double steel walls, the three sheets of 5/8" drywall - this finished product will be top notch. We're waiting on some mechanical (HVAC) work to finish up so we can complete some additional insulation and drywall. After that, it's paint, flooring and, the scariest part of all, our custom doors and windows. The custom doors and windows have been in production since February and are due to be shipped in late May. Once those are installed, this place will look amazing. After that, the finished floor can be installed and we're getting close to being able to fire up some equipment and start listening to some audio. Of course, there are many more tasks but it will feel good to be able to just sit in a chair or on a couch and soak in the space. It's a very special place and hope that a good chunk of you reading this will come to see for yourself. Here are some progress pictures. They do not do justice to the space at all though - you just have to see it for yourself. We've already got a few special visitors heading our way in the coming weeks to take a peek. Reach out if you have any questions or want to talk. I can talk about this stuff all day. - Jim
